Our Eye Doctors

Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.

Our Lenscrafters optometrists in Cherry Hill, Deptford Township, Marlton & take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

Dr. Nathan DeDeo

Dr. Nathan DeDeo

Dr. Nathan DeDeo was born and raised in South Jersey.  Being very near-sighted at a young age, Dr. DeDeo was no stranger to the optometrist.  Getting contact lenses for the first time was life-changing for him, and he decided to become an optometrist when he was only a sophomore in high school.  He is a graduate of Adelphi University, where he was enrolled in the 3-4 accelerated program for Optometry. He received his Doctor of Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry in 2005.  While in Optometry school, Dr. DeDeo was interested in specialty contact lenses, particularly those lenses used to treat and manage Keratoconus ... an interest he still has to this day.

Dr. DeDeo enjoys visiting different parts of the country to provide eye care to rural areas without regular access to optometry.  He has been to Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky, to name a few places.  His travels have even taken him to the far reaches of Alaska, where he traveled approximately 20 times over about five years, providing exams, glasses, and contacts to dozens of native Alaskan villages and thousands of native Alaskan patients.

Dr. DeDeo and his wife recently moved from the New York City suburbs to be closer to friends and family.  They currently reside in Burlington County, and in their spare time, they enjoy live music, theatre, and trying new craft beers.
